Channel magnets are standard countersunk neodymium block magnets with the N or S surface encased in a metal shell or channel. This protective steel channel dramatically increases the sturdiness and impact resistance of the magnet - while also increasing the pull force of the magnet itself at the same time. As a result, channel magnets deliver increased value by providing added pull force at a lower cost.
